Surface Research Class Student Work Fall 2014
During VCUarts Art Foundation program one of the classes I took was called Surface Research under the guidance and instruction of Brooke Chornyak, a class that focuses on creating work that was 2-dimensional using digital or traditional mediums. This was my first attempt at woodblock printing. Students were allowed to use any subject or item to create their own prints. The item that I chose was a necklace that had a blue police call box or more widely known in the Doctor Who series, The Tardis.
